Pat is gifted with a strong innate sense for the use of color. Her technique and style is instantly recognized by her use of bold contrasting colors, black line and whimsical energetic animal portraits. Her art attempts to express something more than the physical aspects of her subject matter. She taps into her years of artistic experience to allow the subject matter to reveal itself through her heart, mind and passion.
Pat shares her talents mentoring, teaching, demonstrating and speaking to various art clubs.

What is your favorite medium to work with?  Mixed Medium

What cheers you up?  Being with friends and family

Which of the four seasons do you love the most and why? Fall because I'm never too cold or too warm and the air is invigorating

Describe your studio in less than 5 words: Colorful, organized and too small.

What is your favorite part about your studio? The atmosphere that surrounds me when I am working in a dedicated space.

Little know fact about you as an artist?  I haven't painted my best painting yet.

Did you go to art school or are you self taught? I claim self-taught but have been influenced by many great artists.

How did you become an artist?  It was a natural occurrence. No one else in my family is.

Where is your favorite spot in Loveland and why?  The library, I love to read

If you could interview one person in the world, who would it be?  EVERYONE. I love to listen to people's life stories.
