Jacqua Schmich

Jacqua Schmich grew up in Nebraska on a wheat and cattle farm. She moved to Colorado in 1965 where she became fascinated with the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. Growing Success as a plein air painter enabled her to commit to painting full time in 1984. Since then she has painted consistently on location and in her studio, creating paintings on the Colorado and New Mexico areas. Although Colorado Landscapes are Jacqua's first love, she paints many other subjects.
